IMT - Functional Art

This week I have two pieces of art to submit. My first is a flower pot ... it started out life as a boring old terra cotta planter, but I changed that!! I really love how it came out. In fact, I have decided NOT to put a plant in it. I think I'm going to use it somewhere inside my house! My second is a bird house ... I didn't build it, but I did paint it. I came across this plain wood house at JoAnn Fabrics and I really loved it. It really got my creative ideas going. I've gone back and purchased a few more!! I had so much fun painting this!
